An Introduction for Producers

If you are an individual artist or company that creates or manages performing arts productions and wish to tour them, you can register as a producer. Register here. (If you were registered on the old version of the site, there is no need to register again, just return to the Home Page, use your old login and re-establish your password by clicking on ‘can’t remember your password?’.)

The first step is to create a Producer Profile. This gives an overview of your company and describes the type of work you create.

You can then create a Production Profile for as many productions as you have available to tour. These profiles contain a great deal of information about the productions and cover technical needs, marketing, personnel and costs. See the guide here. The production may have had a season previously or may still be in the planning stages. (If you had a production listed on the old Cyberpaddock site, you can update it. See the guide here.)

Once you are registered, you can access information about presenters and venues all around Australia, seeing the how they program and the details of the venues they manage. You will also receive updates of touring industry events and have the option of entering productions in voting rounds leading to the development of state or national tours.

You also have the option of linking your production to a Tour Coordinator who can check your profiles and help you get the most out of the various voting rounds. They may also work with you to develop and coordinate a tour if you receive good presenter interest.

Your My Paddock area is your own area for tracking presenters or venues you are interested in and updating your profiles.
